My Story | Published in Senior Year Magazine

One of my goals for this year is to “step out courageously.” And y’all, I am really trying. It’s hard…sometimes when you step up and step out, you stumble. I’ve done that, and it’s no bueno. But sometimes that courage is REWARDED! I was so excited to announce a few weeks ago that NINE of my seniors were published in Senior Year Magazine!

Submitting images for consideration and competition can be a scary thing. No one wants to hear that they’re not good enough. But my seniors ROCK! And the stories that my seniors and I got to tell this year have been nothing short of amazing.

Published in Senior Year Magazine – What it Means for Me

This internationally published magazine is an industry leader in recognizing the work of senior portrait photographers. Having nine of my images chosen for inclusion in the Fall/Winter 2021 edition is a huge honor for me. Seeing my carefully crafted images in print is one of my most exciting memories.

It’s not just a big deal for me, though. My seniors totally rock! Seeing them recognized with this honor is so exciting. It’s a wonderful senior memory for them.

This also reinforces for my seniors and their families that they are getting the very best! My #traciseniors will get a story session that is not only “in vogue” but is of the highest quality. And there’s a chance that their senior portraits will be internationally recognized in print!

So congratulations to all my published seniors! I can’t wait for the next round of submissions.

How about you? Class of 2023, it’s time to start thinking about your senior story. I would love to collaborate with you. Let’s create a session that is edgy and fun and all about you!
