Display the Photos You Love | Christmas Memory Wreath

My seniors and their families will tell you – I want you to display the photos you love. So today I’m taking a break from senior stories to show you a fun crafty holiday photo project. This is a great way to show off your favorite photo memories!

Display the Photos You Love

I chose to display some through-the-years Christmas family memories with my wreath. But you could use family portraits, or those amazing senior story images we captured this year. Later on, we actually created another wreath with engagement and couple portraits for my daughter’s wedding, so you could choose any theme for the photos you use for your project.

You’ll want to gather about eight to ten of your favorite photos, and the same number of wallet-sized or smaller photo frames. We had really good luck at Hobby Lobby and Michael’s finding small silver photo frames to use for our wreath project.

Creating Your Photo Memories Wreath

Once you’ve chosen the photos you want to display, you can get started creating your new family heirloom! I found a set of instructions over at Infarrantly Creative that were super easy to follow that I absolutely loved. You can follow them, too, and you’ll have a beautiful piece of art to display the photos you love for many years to come. I finished off my wreath with a custom painted plank from The Crafted Plank (one of my favorite Etsy Artists and local businesses)!

Make It an Event

When I created my wreath, I actually made the creation of it into a Christmas memory all in itself. I collected a series of photos, gathered supplies and made a photo wreath kit as a Christmas gift. When Katie and Kelly‘s grandparents came to visit, we spent a lovely morning creating a wonderful new memory. Sometimes the event is just as much a memory as the photos you’re creating.

Display Your Photos
